Questions, answered
What file types can I sell?
Anything. PDFs and ebooks, MP3 and WAV audio, MP4 video, ZIP archives, software installers, design files, printables — GrabFlow doesn't inspect or restrict the file type. You can also sell license keys with no file at all.
Is there a file size limit?
No per-file limit. Large uploads are split into parts automatically, so a multi-gigabyte video course uploads as reliably as a small PDF. The only ceiling is your plan's total storage.
Will I be charged for bandwidth or overages?
No — never. Downloads are unlimited on every plan, including the free one, and there are no overage fees of any kind. You are billed for storage only: the amount you upload, not the amount your customers download.
Which plan includes the free trial?
The 14-day free trial is on the Starter plan only. The Free plan doesn't need one — it's free for as long as you like — and Pro and Scale start billing when you choose them, prorated through Shopify's own billing.
How do customers receive their files?
They get an email within seconds of paying, containing a secure link to a download portal page branded with your store's name, logo and colours. Digital line items are marked fulfilled in Shopify automatically, and you can re-send the email or copy the link at any time from the order.
Can I stop people sharing download links?
Yes. Set a maximum number of downloads per purchase and an expiry period. Links are short-lived signed URLs rather than public file addresses, and refunding or cancelling an order revokes access automatically.
Can I sell license keys?
Yes. Paste in a pool of keys or generate them with the built-in key generator, and each purchase is automatically assigned the next unused one, delivered alongside the download. You get an alert when a pool runs low, and a product can be keys-only with no file attached.
Does it work with mixed carts?
Yes. If an order contains both a t-shirt and an ebook, only the digital items are delivered and fulfilled — your physical fulfilment process is untouched.
Do I need to edit my theme?
No. GrabFlow works entirely from your Shopify admin. There is no code to paste and nothing to break when you change themes.
